    Description

Selling off my tools from my 40+ years as a Tool & Die maker. How do I know that this was made by a student at Vincennes University? Because I was that student! I remember we were told that it would take 30 years for the steel to fully stabilize. Guess what? This has stabilized! About 2.935" wide, 7" long, 3.290 tall. Jaw depth is about 2.100". Opens to about 2.675". Has horizontal and vertical "vees" machined in the moveable jaw. It is very precise and square. Had to be. We had a tough instructor. Does have some surface discoloration but there is no pitting and it is not anything that would affect accuracy. Ground a lot of blocks and punch heads with this. I'll be glad to see it's continued use.
